Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers has beautiful state-of-the-art integrated Cancer and Women's Centers, with locations strategically located throughout the Valley. Each one provides a superior cancer care environment with a full spectrum of cancer related services for patients. Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women's centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.

Overview: We are looking for a Research Clinical Trial Startup Specialist. This individual manages and coordinates the clinical preparation for upcoming clinical trials within Ironwood Physicians, PC facilities. Required to have in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and ensures that studies are properly prepared for enrollment in conformance with the protocol guidelines, departmental standards and good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations and international guidelines. Will perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent clinical and functional skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Data entry experience a plus
- Computer skills required (Microsoft office)
- Strong communication and team building skills a must
- Willing to travel between offices
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Clinical experience in Oncology or other acute care
- Prior research experience
- Current IATA, Human Subjects’ protection training or GCP training highly desirable
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Specialty certification such as CCRC preferred
