• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to fabricate parts to specification
• Program and adjust machine settings based on engineering drawings
• Coordinate material flow and staging to support production schedules
• Monitor quality and efficiency throughout the cutting process
• Identify and recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and workflow

• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
• Apply shop math, including fractions and decimal calculations
• Measure and verify parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Safely operate plasma cutting equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes
• Perform daily machine inspections and operational checks
• Replace and maintain torch consumables and components
• Make minor program adjustments and troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Utilize computer systems to support machine operation and production tracking

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate measurements
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
• Manufacturing, industrial, construction, or machine operation experience is preferred but not required

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience: Manufacturing, machine operation, industrial, or construction experience is a plus.
