GableStone is seeking a CAD/CAM Programmer to support our growing countertop fabrication operation in Pineville, NC. This role is responsible for creating accurate countertop layouts, generating CNC programs, optimizing slab usage, and supporting production from project design through fabrication.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in CAD drafting, CNC programming, millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, stone fabrication, construction products, or manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do

• Create countertop layouts and fabrication drawings using CAD software
• Generate CNC machine programs using CAD/CAM software
• Review field measurements and collaborate with templators to ensure accuracy
• Optimize slab layouts to maximize material utilization and reduce waste
• Verify material selections and production requirements before fabrication
• Coordinate with fabrication, scheduling, installation, and project teams to support project completion
• Troubleshoot design and programming issues impacting production
• Maintain project files, revisions, and program documentation
• Track project status and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to programming, layouts, and fabrication processes

What We're Looking For

• Experience with CAD drafting, CNC programming, or manufacturing design preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, Slabsmith, Moraware, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar software is highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
