About Foxleigh Mine:

Foxleigh Mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin coalfield, 12km south of Middlemount and 272km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine was established in 1999 as an open cut operation producing benchmark quality, LV PCI coal for the export market.

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Boilermakers to join our Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining the structural integrity and reliability of our mining fleet.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding, structural repairs and preventative maintenance activities across Foxleigh Mine's haulage fleet and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing structural repairs and fabrication work on mining equipment
• Carrying out welding activities to recognised standards
• Inspecting equipment for wear, cracking and structural defects
• Completing bucket, tray, chassis and ancillary equipment repairs
• Fabricating replacement components and modifications as required
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Completing maintenance records and inspection reports accurately
• Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator
• Experience performing structural repairs on heavy mobile equipment
• Strong welding and fabrication capabiliy
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specification
• Experience working within mining, heavy industry or construction environments
• Current Open Driver's Licence
• Standard 11 and Health Assessment (or ability to obtain)
