Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Resource Coordinator based in Mexico.
This is a highly operational and cross-functional coordination role at the heart of a fast-moving cloud consulting delivery organization. You will ensure that every signed engagement is translated into the right staffing decisions, working across sales, PMO, delivery teams, and external partners to keep project execution running smoothly. The role is central to maintaining delivery efficiency, resource visibility, and operational clarity across multiple concurrent projects. You will own the flow from SOW to staffing, making sure capacity, timelines, and assignments are accurately aligned. Working in a global, remote-first environment, you will help coordinate teams across time zones while maintaining strong data integrity across core operational systems. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-driven, and motivated by solving complex operational challenges at scale.
- Own and manage the end-to-end SOW-to-staffing pipeline, ensuring all new engagements are translated into clear, actionable resource assignments.
- Collaborate with PMO leadership, account managers, and delivery teams to define staffing needs based on scope, effort, and project timelines.
- Identify resource gaps, allocation conflicts, and delivery risks, escalating issues with clear, solution-oriented recommendations.
- Maintain accurate project assignments and resource tracking across tools such as Jira, Clockify, and internal systems.
- Run weekly resourcing cycles, reviewing capacity, validating allocations, and coordinating staffing decisions across teams.
- Monitor utilization levels and proactively flag over- or under-allocation to relevant team leads.
- Maintain a centralized and reliable view of resource availability across all delivery teams.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new projects, ensuring proper setup of time tracking, assignments, and delivery workflows.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for third-party delivery partners and subcontractors.
- Manage partner capacity tracking, RFP submissions, and communication related to outsourced delivery work.
- Support financial and operational alignment by ensuring outsourced engagements remain within budget in collaboration with finance stakeholders.
- Produce weekly resourcing and capacity reports for leadership and PMO stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality data integrity across resourcing, tracking, and project management systems.
- Support capacity forecasting through accurate historical tracking and continuous data maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in resource coordination, project operations, delivery management, or PMO roles, ideally within consulting or IT services environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working with time tracking and resource management tools such as Clockify, Harvest, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on structure, process, and operational clarity.
- Strong communication skills in English, with experience coordinating across distributed, international teams.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they impact delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in cloud consulting, technology services, or AWS-related environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with vendor management, subcontractor coordination, or external partner oversight is advantageous.
- Background in PMO operations, delivery governance, or process optimization is highly desirable.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing operational workflows end-to-end.
- Fully remote role based in Mexico with global team collaboration.
- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, cloud-focused consulting environment.
- Exposure to AWS delivery ecosystems and modern cloud consulting practices.
- Career development opportunities, including training and AWS certification support.
- Mentorship and growth opportunities within delivery and PMO functions.
- Collaborative and international work culture across multiple time zones.
- Chance to contribute directly to improving operational efficiency and delivery excellence.
- Inclusive and purpose-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Flexible coordination with US-based working hours.
- Opportunity to work closely with senior delivery leadership and PMO stakeholders.
