Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

• Collaborate with leadership and department managers on safety initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations.

• Maintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance tracking systems.

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.

• Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.

• Stop unsafe work practices and enforce safety standards.

• Provide safety guidance and support to employees and management.

• Conduct employee safety training sessions and toolbox talks.

• Prepare and submit safety reports and driving safety metrics.

• Manage Workers' Compensation processes in coordination with HR.

• Inspect PPE, ladders, electrical cords, harnesses, lifts, and related equipment.

• Maintain PPE inventory and ensure vehicles are properly stocked.

• Investigate, document, and report workplace incidents.

• Assist with regulatory audits and compliance reviews.

• Coach and counsel employees on safety performance and accountability.

• Analyze safety data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

• Conduct large-scale employee and technician safety inspections annually.

• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in safety practices.

• Participate in leadership and ongoing safety training programs.

Qualifications and Certifications

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in safety management, compliance, and risk mitigation.

• Experience in HVAC, mechanical services, construction, plumbing, or electrical field environments.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety regulations.

• Experience using safety management and reporting software.

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Required Certifications

• EHS Certification.

• OSHA 30 Certification.

• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 Certification preferred.
