Housekeeper/Laundry Aide in WAUKEGAN, Illinois at Lake Park Center

Fulltime housekeeping and laundry aide position with Lake Park Center. We are a specialized mental health facility. The hours are 8am-4:30pm. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Sweep, mop, clean bathrooms, empty garbage's, wash dining room tables after each meal and mop floors, wash windows and walls, move furniture to conduct deep cleaning of facility, inventory of laundry, and ensure laundry is picked up by the third-party provider.

Minimum of six (6) months experience in housekeeping

High school diploma or GED

Ability to clean and disinfect the consumers rooms, hallways, bathrooms etc.

Ability to read, write, and make simple calculations and follow oral and written directions.

Knowledge of principles and requirements of sanitation and safety in handling housekeeping tasks and equipment.

Prompt and regular attendance

No convictions for abuse, neglect, or mistreatment or for misappropriation of property.
