Senior Director, Global Strategic Alliances

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Global Strategic Alliances based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and scale a global partnerships strategy within a fast-growing technology environment.
You will be responsible for building strategic alliances with global systems integrators and digital agencies to accelerate revenue growth and customer success.
The position combines executive relationship management, business development, and operational leadership to create high-impact partner ecosystems.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Services, Customer Success, and Finance teams to embed partnerships into broader growth strategies.
This is a highly visible leadership role where your decisions will shape partner programs, go-to-market motions, and long-term market expansion.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Director, Global Strategic Alliances will define, execute, and optimize global partnership strategies while building a high-performing alliances function. This leader will manage strategic relationships with global systems integrators, digital agencies, and ecosystem partners to create scalable revenue opportunities and strengthen customer outcomes.

  • Develop and execute global alliance strategies that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and successful customer implementations.
  • Build and scale differentiated partner programs with clear operating models for global systems integrators and agency partners.
  • Establish executive-level relationships with strategic partners to create joint business opportunities and long-term value.
  • Lead joint business planning processes, including shared objectives, revenue targets, investment plans, and success metrics.
  • Negotiate and oversee partnership agreements, governance frameworks, and commercial models that maximize mutual growth.
  • Enable partners to develop repeatable solutions, industry offerings, and delivery capabilities using the platform and technology ecosystem.
  • Drive co-selling initiatives, partner-led demand generation, and joint go-to-market strategies to increase pipeline and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Operations teams to integrate partnerships into business strategies.
  • Establish partner scorecards, quarterly business reviews, and performance tracking mechanisms to measure impact and accountability.
  • Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue goals while continuously improving alliance operations and effectiveness.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic partnership leader with extensive experience developing enterprise alliances, managing complex ecosystems, and driving indirect revenue growth. You should combine strong commercial expertise with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

  • Proven experience managing and growing relationships with global systems integrators, large digital agencies, or strategic technology partners.
  • Demonstrated success building partner programs and operating models that generate measurable revenue and pipeline growth.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, channel strategies, and partner-enabled go-to-market motions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Services, and Finance teams.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business leaders, and C-level executives.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term ecosystem development with short-term business objectives.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics and business insights to guide decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Openness to leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve processes and business outcomes.
