Job Description

Position Summary

The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational activities of the organization to ensure efficient business processes and exceptional internal service. This role works collaboratively across departments to coordinate administrative functions, improve workflows, maintain operational records, and support company initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure efficient business processes.
  • Monitor and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and records.
  • Assist with process improvements by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Support cross-functional teams with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational metrics for leadership.
  • Coordinate internal communications, meetings, and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, purchasing, and inventory management as needed.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, administration, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze information and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with business software, ERP systems, or CRM platforms is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.
Work Environment
  • Primarily an office environment with standard business hours.
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available depending on business needs.
Compensation

Salary Range: $58,000–$72,000 annually

Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other business-related factors. Employees may also be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans, and performance-based incentives.
