What You'll Do
As an Assistant Professor of Nursing, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging nursing curriculum and course materials.
- Teach and evaluate students in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.
- Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing education.
- Help students connect classroom learning with real-world clinical practice.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
- Support student recruitment, retention, and success.
- Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to provide meaningful learning experiences.
- Incorporate current evidence-based nursing practices into instruction.

Job Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education, or the ability to complete a master's degree.
- Current New York State Professional Nursing License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong teaching, clinical, communication, and computer skills.
- Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Nursing or a related field.
- Experience with simulation-based learning.
- Background or experience in psychiatric care is strongly encouraged.

Additional Information:
The starting salary for this position is $65,000 and is commensurate with education and experience. Employees are also offered EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITS!
