Jake’s Heating, Air & Plumbing is growing, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Install Lead who knows how to get the job done right, lead a crew, and take ownership from start to finish.

We're not looking for someone who just shows up and installs equipment. We want someone who takes charge, solves problems, sets the pace, and makes sure every installation meets the highest standards.

• Lead the Crew: Take charge of residential HVAC installations, keep your team on track, and make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly.
• Own the Install: Lead the installation and replacement of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and other residential HVAC equipment.
• Set the Standard: Deliver quality workmanship, pay attention to the details, and make sure every job is done right the first time.
• Solve Problems: Troubleshoot installation challenges, think on your feet, and find solutions that keep jobs moving.
• Develop Your Team: Train, coach, and support installers and helpers while helping them build their skills and confidence.
• Finish Strong: Perform system startups, testing, and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Build Customer Confidence: Communicate professionally with homeowners, answer questions, and explain system operation and maintenance.
• Stay Organized: Maintain clean job sites, manage materials and equipment, and make sure your crew is prepared for the job.
• Take Accountability: Own the quality, productivity, and overall success of every installation you lead.

• Strong experience installing residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Previous experience leading installations or mentoring other installers preferred.
• Solid understanding of HVAC installation procedures, electrical components, airflow, and system operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make confident decisions in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lead a crew, communicate expectations, and keep jobs moving.
• A proactive, goal-driven mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
