You'll have telehealth and in-person appointments in the office, field and may work from home as CDLF allows, based on client and front-desk needs.

ABOUT CENTRO DE LA FAMILIA
CPLC Centro De La Familia provides outpatient behavioral health services for families and individuals of all ages. The program offers counseling and therapy services to those living with serious mental illness, general mental health issues, and substance abuse issues. These issues can be related to depression, anxiety, relationships, loss, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and trauma from sexual, emotional and/or physical abuse. Outpatient services offer flexible office hours and home-based services for children and their families, public transit accessibility, therapy in English and Spanish, and professional staff who utilize best practice models for treatment.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You play a vital role in connecting clients to the clinic’s therapeutic services, supporting clients enrolled in the behavorial health system. You support the clinical team by managing client enrollment, coordinating intake appointments, and facilitating group therapy sessions. In all this, you are welcoming, organized, and client-centered, from first contact through ongoing care, contributing to overall program quality and accessibility.

  • Client Services & Intake

    • Manage initial client contact, eligibility screening, appointment scheduling, and benefit verification.
    • Maintain accurate records and collect fees using EHR systems.
  • Clinical & Program Support

    • Conduct assessments, develop service plans, and facilitate group therapy sessions.
    • Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure quality care delivery.
    • Travel into the community to provide services to families where they feel most comfortable, such as homes, schools, office or other community locations.
  • Administrative Operations

    • Provide front desk coverage, coordinate referrals, and ensure confidentiality of client records.
    • Support organizational needs through effective communication and teamwork, including effectively communicating with Spanish-speaking clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Meets one of the Behavioral Health Technician criteria as defined in Office of Behavioral Health Licensing rules per the Arizona Administrative Code R9-20-204 and has:
    • Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of full-time behavioral health work experience, or
    • Associate degree and at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience, or
    • Over 5 years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
  • Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to attend required Child and Family Team training within one month of assuming the position and participate in ongoing learning requirements.
  • Knowledge of community-based behavioral health services preferred.
