Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Centeris seeking a passionate and experienced veterinary professional to lead ourtechnician and assistant teamsin our new,24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for someone ready to drive clinical excellence, build team culture, and help us shape the future of specialty veterinary care in the Austin area.

We are aFear Free Certified, AAHA-accreditedhospital offering advanced care in:
- Emergency
- Surgery
- Internal Medicine
- Medical Oncology
- Dentistry & Oral Surgery
- We also collaborate with onsite cardiology and ultrasound services weekly.
We've just moved into a beautifulnew facilitydesigned with efficiency, patient care, and team well-being in mind.
The Opportunity
As theVeterinary Technician Manager, you'll:
- Lead, develop, and support a team of credentialed technicians, assistants, and liaisons across multiple departments.
- Collaborate closely with hospital leadership to improve workflows, patient outcomes, and team engagement.
- Shape onboarding, training, and ongoing development for all clinical support team members.
- Manage team schedules, licensing, CE tracking, and performance reviews.
- Be afloor leaderbringing energy, clinical expertise, and mentorship to every shift.
Who You Are
- Credentialed technician(LVT, RVT, CVT) preferred; VTS a plus
- 5+ years of clinical veterinary experiencein an emergency or specialty setting
- 3+ years of leadership experience (lead tech, supervisor, manager)
- Acoach and mentorwho thrives on developing others
- Comfortable managing people, solving problems, and jumping in where needed
- Organized, communicative, and passionate about patient care and team culture
