Budget and Fiscal Services (BFS) is responsible for the management of all agency financial activities including Accounting, Budgeting, Contractual Agreements, Financial Systems, Grants, and Payroll. The division consists of the Budget Section, the Accounting Section, the Financial Systems and Payroll Section, and the Contracting Section.
This position supports the Washington State Patrol's (WSP) mission by ensuring that revenues and reimbursements due to the agency are billed timely and that monies owed to the agency are recovered thus enhancing the agency's fiscal ability to continue providing public safety services.
This position is responsible for providing collection services on returned checks, preparing miscellaneous invoices, maintaining accounts receivable spreadsheets on towing fees of impounded vehicles, agency vehicles damaged by others and public disclosure requests.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have basic math and keyboarding skills

NOTE: This is not a telework position. Candidates must be able and willing to work in the office and commute to Olympia. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training is complete.
