Position Summary:

The Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor leads and oversees maintenance crews to ensure high-quality landscape services are delivered efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This role is critical in managing daily operations, coaching crew members, maintaining equipment, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise maintenance crews in mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, weeding, mulching, and seasonal tasks.

• Assign daily work, monitor productivity, and ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.

• Train and mentor crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

• Conduct daily pre-job meetings to review schedules, safety, and client requests.

• Operate and oversee maintenance equipment; perform daily inspections and report issues.

• Manage materials and inventory, including fertilizers, chemicals, and mulch, ensuring proper handling and storage.

• Coordinate with operations managers on scheduling, weather, and site challenges.

• Serve as the on-site client contact, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.

• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, ensuring proper PPE use and jobsite safety.

• Document completed work, time, materials used, and site conditions accurately.

• Report crew performance, safety incidents, and maintenance needs to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance and crew supervision.

• Strong knowledge of turf management, pruning, pest and disease control, and irrigation troubleshooting.

• Leadership skills including task delegation, coaching, and conflict resolution.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and chemical handling procedures.

• Ability to operate and maintain landscape equipment safely and efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.

• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Pre-hire drug test and background check required. We are a non-smoking/vaping, drug free company.
