Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative, organized, and client-focused Family Vacation Planner to join our remote travel services team. This role involves curating personalized travel experiences for families of all sizes, ensuring their vacation meets expectations in terms of fun, relaxation, budget, and logistical ease. The ideal candidate is experienced in vacation planning, understands family dynamics, and can provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple bookings and requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate customized family vacations, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, excursions, and theme park or attraction reservations.

  • Provide expert advice on family-friendly destinations, travel requirements, and age-appropriate activities.

  • Manage all aspects of the booking process using online platforms and global distribution systems (GDS).

  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and chat to understand their preferences, needs, and special requests.

  • Handle travel adjustments, cancellations, or emergencies, offering prompt and professional support.

  • Research seasonal deals, travel insurance, and promotional packages to deliver value-driven travel options.

  • Maintain accurate traveler profiles and family preferences to ensure consistent and tailored service.

  • Comply with all relevant travel regulations and internal procedures regarding bookings and payments.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in travel planning, preferably with a focus on family or leisure travel.

  • Strong knowledge of popular family destinations (e.g., Disney, national parks, cruises, beach resorts).

  • Familiarity with GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar booking tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality is a plus.
