CAT Front End Loader Operator - Aggregate Yard at ENSTRUCTURE LLC – Memphis, Tennessee

The CAT Front End Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials such as gravel, sand, stone, or other raw materials. This position ensures material flow for production and shipping while maintaining a clean and organized yard.

• Operate a CAT front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials according to production and shipping needs.
• Load customer trucks and hoppers with accuracy and attention to proper weight distribution.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on the loader; report mechanical issues or damage immediately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, including proper stockpile management and dust control.
• Monitor material quality and communicate any contamination or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
• Follow site safety policies and traffic rules regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with yard staff, drivers, and plant operators to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support yard operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a front-end loader, preferably in an aggregate, construction, or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with CAT loader controls and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand load tickets, weight limits, and basic yard signage.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

This role involves working in an outdoor aggregate yard with exposure to dust, noise, heavy machinery, and varying weather. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses and high-visibility gear are required and supplied.
