B Shift CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Gaishin Manufacturing Inc

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style and mill/turn lathes (Citizen and DMG MORI).

• Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and setup sheets.

• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Troubleshoot setups and make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and efficiency.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and Lean principles.

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Swiss or mill/turn preferred).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerancing.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
