About This Position

Seeking knowledgeable and motivating Speed & Agility Instructors to lead performance-based training for youth athletes. The instructor will focus on developing movement fundamentals, coordination, acceleration, and injury-prevention techniques in a safe, encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structured training sessions focusing on sprint mechanics, footwork, balance, and coordination.
  • Design age-appropriate drills that improve athletic performance across sports.
  • Teach safe technique and movement habits to reduce injury risk.
  • Create a supportive, goal-oriented environment that promotes individual growth.
  • Track athlete progress and adjust training as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and program staff.
  • Seasonal position with initial commitment to the following camp sessions:
    June 16-20 (AM and PM camps)
    July 14-18 (AM and PM camps)
    August 4-8 (AM and PM camps)
  • Possibility of other coaching opportunities may arise.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Background in athletic training, sports performance, or kinesiology.
  • Prior experience working with youth in a training or coaching role.
  • Certification in strength & conditioning or athletic performance required (e.g., NASM-PES, CSCS, ISSA, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly wage/stipend based on experience.
