Jr. Project Controls Cost Analyst at Anvil Corporation – Bellingham, Washington

• Works with team members on the day to day maintenance of the companies integrated project control system which is used to: 1) develop the scope, and estimate/budget the engineering effort to execute the scope; and 2) report progress and performance against the scope and budget.
• Coordinates the preparation of:
  • Engineering cost estimates
  • Weekly engineering progress and performance reports
  • Weekly engineering cost reports
  • Engineering change logs
• Supports the Program Manager to provide:
  • Oversight of engineering projects to ensure they are operating within project control guidelines
  • Monthly resource level staff (manpower) planning
  • Monthly reporting of key performance indicators (KPI) to companys management
  • Monthly review of companys billings to clients

• Knowledge of earned value management methodology
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Project skills
• Experience working in the oil and gas industry preferred
• Primavera (P6) skills are preferred
• Microsoft Access skills preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel on short duration assignments

• B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management, preferred;
• OR Minimum 1 to 5 years in industrial engineering and/or industrial construction project work.

• Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
• Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering phones.
• Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary.
