JOB SUMMARY
- For hospital, clinic and hospital owned properties’: Performs all work in strict conformity to NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E. Performs journeyman level work in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical/HVAC systems and equipment. Repairs ( or installs only under a Wyoming Master Electrician) wiring for new electrical transformers, receptacles, wiring, switches, alarms, public address systems and various other electrical equipment and appliances. Studies and understands blueprints and diagrams to ascertain layout, location and specification of items to be installed, repaired or serviced. Becomes proficient in all aspects of the building(s) electrical distribution system(s). Performs related mechanical work in disassembling items being worked upon. Has a valid Wyoming State license. Responsible for repairs, work orders and preventative maintenance of the facilities. To assist other hospital departments with miscellaneous tasks requiring physical strength or knowledge common to the position. To assist Maintenance personnel with their job duties when required or as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid Wyoming State Electrical/Associates/Journeyman license, with associated requisite schooling is required. A valid drivers license is required. One year experience in general maintenance functions or an associated building trade.

Job Knowledge and Skills:- Be able to read, interpret, and understand both oral and written instructions. Have the ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift. Have computer knowledge. Be able to withstand varying weather conditions and have a general knowledge of the operation and repair of buildings and associated equipment. Possess a valid Wyoming driver’s license.
