About This Position
7 week Phlebotomy training course
Accountable to Laboratory Management and the Phlebotomy Program Director. Functions as a member of the laboratory team within the Phlebotomy Training Program. Assists the laboratory with patient collection and processing of laboratory specimens, for use in clinical and diagnostic laboratory testing. Other duties, as assigned by the Phlebotomy Program Director/Laboratory Management, to facilitate efficient workflow in the Laboratory Department.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Good communication skills required for effective interaction with patients, family members, other hospital departments, and staff.
