About This Position
Come Join Our Team working as a Special Education Teacher/Education Coordinator!
Direct teaching - Teach students on the team, implementing all behavior, educational, and IEP objective programming.
IEP development - Prepare for and facilitate (chair/co-chair) IEP meetings. Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration for IEP development and implementation
Student Progress Monitoring - Prepare materials for Clinical Case Reviews (RES) or parent clinics (IIP). Chair MBO meetings according to prescribed guidelines for each student 10x per year
MCAS/State Assessments - Incorporate testing requirements into IEP objectives as appropriate
Staff Training - Oversee/assist in case manager training on progress reports, MBO preparation, remediation of student programming, increasing session tally. Train implementation of new curriculum during team meetings
Classroom Maintenance - Maintain an attractive educational environment at the school. Ensure availability of educational materials at the school and relevant educational programs at the residence

Education/Experience
- Completion of Master's Degree program in Special Education
- MA Licensure in Severe Disabilities
- Case management experience preferred
- Training or supervisory experience preferred
