Industrial Mechanic / Laborer at Adena Corporation – Lakeland, Florida

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and tools
2. Assist with preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
3. Support field crews across multiple work areas (concrete, structural, industrial)
4. Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment
5. Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and material handling
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
7. Step in where needed to support team productivity and project timelines

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

1. Ability to read specifications, tape measures, and blueprints
2. Ability to use equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
4. Welding experience is a plus
5. Mechanical aptitude (equipment, engines, hydraulics, etc.)
6. Ability to work in both mechanic and laborer capacities
7. Comfort working in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment
8. Strong work ethic
9. Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy materials
10. Experience in construction, industrial, or maintenance environments required

Additional Notes:

• Must have the ability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends when required

• Must be available for “Call Out”, “Emergency,” and “Outage” work

• Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid, and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust

• Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home
