Billing Specialist – Part-time (20 hours) at Concord Counseling Services – Columbus, Ohio

Concord Counseling Services seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and coding, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

•Must have working knowledge claims submission to third party payers

•Must have a working understanding of basic financial concepts, application / posting of payments with proper use of accounting dates, and daily balancing of posted payments.

•Knowledge of both billing and the electronic medical records system to identify and correct potential billing problems that would delay or prevent reimbursement of services.

•Must have a working understanding of the credentialing process, contracts, and revalidation

Requirements:

•Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding

•Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing procedures

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

•Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

•Excellent communication and customer service skills
