About This Position

Driver responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate the Water Truck, Side/Belly/End Dump Trucks and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
  • Proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge
  • Operate Trucks safely and efficiently
  • Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area
  • Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness
  • Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Water Truck.
  • Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.
  • Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics.
  • Must examine situations in light of the principles of the Code of Ethics.

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of driving construction vehicles
  • Must have a CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement
  • Willing to do laborer work
  • Ability to work as a Team Member and work in a professional manner and a positive attitude
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
  • Frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing into equipment, lifting (up to 75lbs), twisting, standing, balancing, stooping, handling materials, moving around hazardous sites.
  • Good Eye to Hand coordination a must. Depth perception required.
  • Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends.
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly, listen and understand information through spoken works and sentences to ensure full comprehension of job duties, safety regulations, and other situations that may require an immediate response.
