Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Overview:

The Project Management Office (PMO) Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Project Manager(s) and Program Manager in the coordination, implementation, management, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for helping manage workplan reviews, issue tracking, deliverable and project status updates, timeline management, and risk management tracking.

The Project Coordinator will assist with the creation and maintenance of well-written, organized project documentation.

Maintain effective communication with project team, stakeholders, supervisor, and Executive Management to ensure all levels are appropriately informed of project progress and issues.

Work independently under regular supervision with quantifiable and qualitative results.

Maintain a level of understanding of RWJBH Enterprise goals and IT goals and how they both are supported and impacted by portfolio of projects.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor s Degree
  • Minimum: Associate s Degree with three or more years of related experience

Work Experience:

  • Preferred: Three (3) years relevant experience in large scale project coordination/support, preferably in a health care setting
  • Minimum: One (1) year relevant experience in large scale project coordination/support, preferably in a health care setting
  • Experience in MS Office Suite, Project Management Information System/Project Planning tool

  • Resilience: the ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
