About This Position

All-Pro Threaded Products, manufacturing division of All-Pro Fasteners, Inc., located in Arlington, Texas, is a producer of a wide variety of special fasteners that are used throughout the steel fabrication, pipe, OEM, industrial construction and utility industries.

This shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm

Summary:
Sets up and operates Fanuk Controls, Kuma, and Haas Control CNC Lathe and Mill machines to fabricate steel parts for the fastener industry:

(Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned):
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Adhere to material traceability procedures
- Select and install proper tooling and/or fixtures and program
- Provide first article to QC Supervisor/Lead for approval signature
- Periodically inspect parts for conformity to specifications
- Provide accurate account of pieces produced
- Police and clean work area 15 minutes prior to end of shift
- Frequently pushes, pulls and lifts up to 50 pounds
- Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules

What You Need
- Measurement Proficiency: Knowledge of calipers, gauges, and other required measuring tools.
- Math Skills: Strong proficiency in basic math.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document machining procedures.
- Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling.
- Communication: Basic oral communication skills and the ability to read, comprehend, and complete logs and reports in English.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components.
- Policy Compliance: Availability to work scheduled hours and adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and stand for an entire shift.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained and a desire to learn new skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliability: Dependable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
