As a Server, youre the dining rooms MVP! Youll wow our guests by juggling orders with a smile, chatting up the menu like a pro, and turning every visit into a memorable experience. Whether youre taking orders, serving up delicious plates, or keeping things spotless and organized, you bring energy, personality, and top-notch servicealways following our companys playbook and safety game plan.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience Guru: Create warm, memorable dining moments by greeting guests with a smile, taking accurate orders, and making sure every need is met from start to finish.
  • Menu Mastermind: Know the menu inside and out from ingredients and dietary needs to daily specials and alcohol service guidelines so you can guide guests like a pro.
  • Accuracy Ace: Deliver food and drinks quickly and flawlessly, with attention to detail that keeps orders spot-on and guests happy.
  • Table Tactician: Juggle multiple tables with ease, keeping service smooth, spaces clean, and your cool in high-pressure moments.
  • Payment Pro: Handle transactions with precision, close checks confidently, and follow all company and security protocols like a seasoned cashier.
  • Cleanliness Champion: Keep the service area spotless and safe, following hygiene regulations and certification standards without missing a beat.
  • Stamina Specialist: Stay energized and on your feet lifting, bending, and moving with strength and endurance throughout your shift.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally.
  • Must obtain and maintain any required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers Card) as per state regulations.

PROPERTY INFORMATION:

Formerly Hotel Indigo, this property is in the process of rebranding as Hotel Tonnelle, a Marriott Tribute! This upscale, New Orleans Garden District hotel is on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line. High-speed wireless internet access is included. Vibrant dcor and modern furnishings are showcased in guest rooms at Hotel Tonnelle. A flat-screen TV with cable channels is available for in-room entertainment. A work desk and coffee machine are also provided. The hotels fitness center features elliptical machines, treadmills, and weights. The business center has computers, printers, and fax services.
