Assembler - 1st Shift at Wisconsin Metal Parts LLC – Waukesha, Wisconsin

Local Top Workplace looking for an assembler to join our team and take the lead on our growing sheet metal assembly work cell. Flexible 1st shift hours and great working culture!!!

Great opportunity for someone with some mechanical assembly experience looking to learn or expand their skills into more complex mechanical or electrical assemblies in a better work environment and culture.

Position Responsible For:

• Complete and troubleshoot standardized mechanical or electrical assemblies, including all sub and final unit and assemblies
• Use standard hand tools and review/ready part prints and schematics
• Assist in routine functional testing and quality inspections as required
• Assist in documenting work instructions/processes

Starting pay based on applicable/related assembly experience.

• 1+ years experience in both simple to moderate complexity mechanical or electrical assembly style work strongly preferred
• Will consider less experienced candidates with strong technical background, or those with technical background looking to transition careers. Must have a strong desire to learn!
• Detail and efficiency orientated
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs and stand for 8-10 hours/day
