Part-Time Custodian (Weekends) at SEG Hockey LLC – Sandy, Utah

JOB SUMMARY:

This custodial position is a part-time weekend shift of varying hours. Working with a team and independently, the custodian helps clean the Utah Mammoth practice facility. Compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in control of sanitation throughout the buildings.
• Detail cleaning in restrooms, locker rooms, suites, offices, etc.
• Cleaning of windows, carpets, counter areas, and floors.
• Keep the custodial closets and storage areas neat and tidy.
• Interact in a tactful and friendly manner to patrons and other employees.
• Report needs for repairs to the department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High School education or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–3 years custodial experience preferred.
• Basic math skill required (addition, subtraction, multiplication division).
• Flexible schedule to work weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
