Inpatient Registered Nurse: PRN at Exceptional Healthcare Inc. – Yuma, Arizona

Exceptional is looking for extraordinary Registered Nurses for a 9-bed unit with telemetry capabilities.

• In-house Respiratory Therapist (24 hr coverage)

• Create, follow and update treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
• Provide nursing advice and emotional support.
• Be an effective team member or team leader
• Patient and Family Education
• Collaborate with physicians, family and patients to provide optimal care
• Train new nurses.

Nurse Requirements:

• At least 2 year of recent experience as an acute care RN.
• Ability to think and act critically
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Patience with difficult patients.
• Compassion for all patients and family members
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self starter and CAN DO attitude a MUST.

Requirements:

• License to practice nursing in the state of AZ required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• A minimum of one year of inpatient, PCU, tele, or similar hospital experience
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Shift Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• All shift
• Weekend availability
