Presbyterian Village North is immediately hiring Full Time Culinary Servers in our Culinary Department.
Shift available: Full Time - 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week - flexibility required for week days, evenings and weekends.
FT - Mon.-Sat. 9:30, 10, or 10:30a - 8p; Sun. 9, 9:30, or 10a - 4p

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide food and beverage service in dining room
- Serve residents and guests in A la Carte, full-service atmosphere with attention to detail and hospitality
- Models a service and solutions-oriented attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better
- Friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
- Ensure resident/patient, visitor, self and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
- Maintain good attendance record; arrive to work timely and conform to scheduled work hours
- Wear appropriate and assigned protective gear, i.e. apron, hair net, mask
- Ability to follow opening and closing procedures including workstations
- Clean and/or pull dishes from dish room to dining area
- Complete daily cleaning according to schedule or Supervisors instructions
- Assists with any special events as assigned
- Reset tables to specifications with clean pressed linen
- Fold and sort silverware and napkins for dining room
- Set-up hot buffet/salad bar/desserts/beverages/service side stations and take temperatures of food before service, clean appropriately at the end of service
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months - 1 year in A la Carte & Food Service Industry experience required
- Experience in customer service, is preferred
- Food Handlers card is required by first day of work
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to be patient and gracious with residents
