Job Overview

Clean Sweep 317 LLC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Specialist to join our Sales & Client Relations team. This role blends hands-on technical service with consultative in-home sales, giving you the opportunity to inspect chimneys and hearth systems, educate homeowners, and recommend solutions that keep families safe. Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep and inspect chimneys for fire hazards and water entry issues, with or without an Sweep Assistant

  • Test, diagnose, and evaluate gas logs and hearth appliances

  • Generate inspection reports and repair estimates at every appointment

  • Educate homeowners through professional presentations and secure approval for recommended repairs

  • Perform 34 service appointments per day (up to 4 during peak season)

  • Make a minimum of four daily follow-up calls to customers with open repair estimates

  • Log all quotes, follow-ups, and conversations accurately in the CRM system

  • Follow Clean Sweep 317s proven core sales process

  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance goals

  • Participate in weekly sales training, coaching, and role-playing sessions

  • Respond to customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally

  • Complete all required documentation by the end of each workday

  • Work some Saturdays during peak season (Q4)

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (sales, service, or customer-facing roles preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with a get after it work ethic

  • Comfortable delivering honest recommendations, even when conversations are challenging

  • Ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders and accessing rooftops

  • Ability to navigate tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Basic technical aptitude (power tools, equipment, or mechanical systems)

  • Comfortable using mobile technology (tablet/iPad-based systems)

  • Valid U.S. drivers license

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous in-home sales experience

  • Background in chimney, fireplace, masonry, roofing, HVAC, or plumbing work

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Proven customer service or consultative sales success

Compensation & Benefits
  • $60,000 $90,000 annual earning potential

  • Hourly training pay for the first 36 months, transitioning to full commission
