Experienced Maintenance Technician – King County

Reports To: Property Manager
Pay: $35-$40/hour | Full-time | Hourly non-exempt

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician in King County to support the day‑to‑day operations of our residential communities. This role is responsible for maintaining property systems, completing repairs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well‑maintained environment for residents, under the direction of the Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests, work orders, and unit make‑ready preparations
• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and basic structural work
• Inspect, monitor, and maintain building systems and interior/exterior common areas
• Maintain property grounds, including trash removal and light landscaping tasks
• Clean and maintain interior common spaces as needed
• Assist with special projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Identify and promptly report safety hazards, incidents, or property concerns
• Participate in on‑call coverage and emergency maintenance response

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily settings
• Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools across multiple trades
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
