About the Role

As an Overnight Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-volume prescription verification, accurate dispensing, and seamless fulfillment operations during the overnight shift. Youll join a high-efficiency proactive pharmacy team operating in a streamlined, forward-looking fulfillment environment where the focus is on staying ahead of schedule and setting the next day up for success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform accurate and efficient prescription verification and dispensing quality checks in accordance with state/federal regulations and company standards
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate
• Coordinate closely with overnight pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and fulfillment operations teams to maintain continuous workflow and order accuracy
• Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
• Ensure precise order preparation, packaging verification
• Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

Requirements

• Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing required
• You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail and/or mail-order pharmacy setting is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• You have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care outcomes
• The ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and lift and carry up to 5 lbs during your shift.
• You are available to work within operating hours: Four 10 hour days: Sunday: 7:30pm to 6am and Monday to Wednesday 7pm to 5am
