**Job Summary:**
The Student Worker will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the institution. This position offers an opportunity for the student to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the success of the department. The Student Worker will assist with various administrative tasks, customer service, and special projects under the guidance of department staff.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. **Administrative Support:**
- Assist with data entry, filing, photocopying, and document organization.
- Help maintain departmental records, databases, and digital files.
- Prepare and distribute documents, forms, and materials as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to department staff.

2. **Customer Service:**
- Greet and assist visitors, students, faculty, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide accurate information about departmental programs, services, and events.

3. **Event Coordination:**
- Assist in organizing and executing departmental events, workshops, seminars, and meetings.
- Help with event setup, registration, materials preparation, and post-event clean-up.

4. **Research and Data Collection:**
- Assist in gathering, compiling, and analyzing data for departmental reports and projects.
- Conduct basic research and assist in preparing presentations or materials based on findings.

5. **Special Projects:**
- Participate in special projects as assigned by department staff, which may involve research, creative work, or data analysis.

6. **Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with other student workers and department staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvement.

7. **Other Duties:**
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the department's overall mission and objectives.

- Current enrollment as a full-time student at the Institution
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from department staff.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is a plus.
