Position Highlights

• Work location: Texas Health Stephenville 411 Belknap Stephenville, TX 76401
• Work environment: Mother Baby Unit
• Work hours: PRN DAYS (as needed) 12 hours of 7P on call is associated with each shift.
• Work 7A and then take 7P on call to maximize their days off

Duties will be to perform surgical scrub duties in the OR but also to provide support to nursing on the floor when not needed in the OR. That support will include patient transport, stocking rooms, clerical duties and assisting nursing as needed and within their scope.

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Req Or
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Req
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Pref

Experience
1 Year current operating room experience Pref

Licenses and Certifications
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Or
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req Or
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req Or
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
