Salary Grade: Hourly 16 | H-16

Position Summary:The Expanded Learning Coordinator coordinates engaging, experiential learning opportunitiesand experiences outside of the classroom including before-, during-, and after-school, duringbreaks, and over the summer for assigned school sites within the district. The Coordinatorcollaborates and partners with school leadership and staff, learners and families, and communitypartners to plan, implement, and monitor high-quality programs and activities that supportlearners holistic learning and development. The Expanded Learning Coordinator also works withcommunity partners and volunteers to actively remove barriers and provide direct supports thatmeet the various and unique needs of learners, families, and communities.
Key Functions:
Coordinates before-, during-, after-school, break, and summer expanded learningprogramming for assigned school sites
Serves as the day-to-day point of contact for expanded learning activities and supportsat assigned sites
Oversees program quality, safety, and data fidelity, including enrollment, attendance,and reporting
Recruits, trains, and supports expanded learning volunteers and cultivates communitypartnerships
Collaborates with school leadership, the Director of Expanded Learning, and TheOpportunity Project to align programming with district practices
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in social work, education, public administration, or a related field
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
Experience working with or in schools and/or community youth programs
Experience with program planning, implementation, and administration
Experience inspiring and leading groups to reach collective goals, such as directlysupervising teams, volunteer coordination, or project management
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Drivers License required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of child development, positive youth development, and the scienceof learning
Ability to build relationships in a culturally competent and affirming manner with a widerange of stakeholders, including staff, administrators, families, youth, and the community
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage diversifiedworkloads
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
