The Mold Technician is responsible for identifying, containing, removing, and preventing mold growth in residential and commercial properties. This role requires adherence to safety standards, proper use of remediation equipment, and effective communication with clients and team members.

• Perform mold inspections and moisture assessments
  
• Set up containment and negative air pressure systems
  
• Remove mold-contaminated materials following industry standards (IICRC S520, EPA guidelines)
  
• Clean, disinfect, and deodorize affected areas
  
• Operate and maintain remediation equipment (air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums)
  
• Document job progress with photos and reports
  
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
  
• Communicate findings, procedures, and timelines with supervisors and clients
  
• Assist with post-remediation verification preparation
  
• Maintain clean and organized job sites

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs
  
• Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics)
  
• Basic understanding of construction and building materials
  
• Strong attention to detail and safety
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
