Position Overview:The Psychiatrist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide follow-up care and crisis intervention as necessary.
- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and professional development activities.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and completed residency in Psychiatry.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in [State or Region].
- DEA license with authorization to prescribe psychiatric medications.
- Experience with electronic medical records "AdvancedMD" (EMRs) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
