Unique Skills:

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering
•English spoken and written (90% Advanced).
•Experience working for aerospace industry and/or mechanical design
•Proficient with CATIA V5 3D modeling and 2D drafting
–Part Design, Product Design, Sheetmetal Design, Surfacing, Electrical Harnesses

Travel availability, valid US visa & Mexican Passport

Knowledge:

•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
•Mechanical design and GD&T
•Manufacturing processes of mechanical parts
•Engineering change management and release processes
•Analytical, Root cause oriented, task/project administration, presentation skills
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree. 1 year of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Position Purpose:Assists with the planning, coordination, performance of design, analysis supporting the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  1. Research and analysis of engineering data to solve high complexity problems .
  2. Responsible for the custom engineering support throughout the release process .
  3. Knowledge: Engineering incorporation and release processes .
  4. Previous exposure and general understanding of engineering specifications .
  5. Familiar with the asset manufacturing process and installation .
  6. Analytical, task/project administration, presentation skills .
  7. Proficient in CAD (CATIA V5) .
  8. General understanding of Design Criteria .
  9. Research and analysis of engineering data to solve low to high complexity problems .
  10. Define engineering changes required. to solve these issues and incorporate design changes into engineering definition.
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
  1. Advanced English.
  2. Experience with Catia V5 for 3DB Design Experience with AutoCAD 2D design.
  3. Experience with designing custom engineering Self & results driven individual, and flexibility based on team needs.
