About This Position

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team at. In this role, you will ensure guest rooms meet brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest readiness. You will play a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience by maintaining the highest levels of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure compliance with Renaissance and Marriott brand standards
  • Confirm all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly
  • Provide feedback and support to Room Attendants to improve performance and consistency
  • Prioritize and inspect VIP arrivals, early check-ins, and special request rooms
  • Update room status in the hotel’s property management system in real time
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards in public areas as needed
  • Support housekeeping leadership with quality control initiatives and special projects
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
  • Prior hotel housekeeping experience required; inspection or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Basic computer proficiency; Marriott systems experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Requirements:

· Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Hearing, writing, typing.

· Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.

· Must have good mathematical and computer skills.

· High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.

· CPR and first aid training preferred.

· Additional language ability preferred
