Hiring Immediately- Distribution Lead - 2nd Shift

Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday -- Friday, 3:30pm-midnight (fulltime) + overtime

About the Role:

As a Distribution Center Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and personnel within an assigned area of the distribution center. This role ensures the smooth and efficient flow of products through the facility by coordinating with other departments and associates. You will provide hands-on support as needed while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee work assignments and personnel in assigned work area
• Demonstrate direction and leadership, and present a positive role model to all associates
• Perform functions of departmental staff as operationally necessary
• Understand and follow operational procedures within assigned area and perform tasks completely, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Communicate with other departments and associates to ensure effective operational flows
• Ensure associates understand and utilize safe work practices
• Create and maintain accurate reports, and use information to achieve maximum results
• Assure prompt and proper training of associates
• Constructively coach associates and communicate goals to inspire top performance
• Capable of working in other departments, as assigned
• Complete special assignments as directed by management

What Were Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• A few years of warehouse/factory experience preferred
• Able to quickly read, learn, and understand standard operating and safety procedures
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a positive, team-oriented fashion
• Able to frequently lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds independently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally with team assistance
• Able to use warehouse control system, warehouse sortation system, and Microsoft Office products, or ability to learn
• Team player with a good attitude and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to include oral, written, and interpersonal
• Able to multitask and prioritize efficiently
