Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support Project Managers in the
execution of complex industrial projects. Based in Houston, TX, this role plays a critical part in ensuring
projects move efficiently by coordinating materials, tracking schedules, supporting procurement
activities, and maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure
timely delivery of materials, accurate financial tracking, and effective communication across all projects
stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to Project Managers across multiple active projectsAssist with tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverablesFollow up on internal and external communications to ensure timely responses and action itemsSupport coordination between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field teamsObtain pricing and lead times from vendors and suppliersAssist with issuing purchase orders in accordance with project requirements and internal proceduresTrack material procurement status and monitor on-time delivery of critical componentsCoordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepanciesAssist with project cost tracking, budget updates, and financial reportingMaintain accurate project documentation within ERP and project management systemsSupport Project Managers with change tracking, cost impacts, and reporting inputsSchedule, coordinate, and attend project meetings as neededPrepare meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, and track follow-up action itemsMaintain organized project files, correspondence, and documentationQualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)1–3 years of experience in a project coordination, operations, procurement, or administrative support roleExperience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsExperience with ERP systems and basic financial trackingProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plusAbility to track multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with a proactive, follow-up-driven mindsetAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsComfortable supporting multiple Project Managers in a fast-paced environment
