Job Overview:

The Intern will collaborate with the volunteer interns to support various departments and projects, gaining exposure to healthcare administration, patient services, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in a health field or management science
• HS Diploma

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• Day

Essential Functions:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Interest in the healthcare industry
• Reliable and punctual
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
• Assist with the distribution of patient information and resources
• Compile and analyze data for reports and presentations
• Participate in project based learning and present capstone project to the hospital Executive Council at the conclusion of the internship
• Provide administrative support to various departments
• Provide support to patient navigation or patient experience initiatives
• Support the development and implementation of process improvements
