We are looking for a Data Engineer in San Diego, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture
• Assemble large, complex data sets, automate manual processes, redesign infrastructure and data handling processes for greater scalability
• Design and implement optimal extract, transform, and load processes
• Establish and maintain a highly organized meta-data structure that permits joining and analyzing disparate data sets of different types including transactional, text, as well as image and sensor-based data
• Build analytic tools to monitor and provide decision support for optimal storage, access, and data flow strategies
• Work with analytics product and service teams to identify new data stream requirements to support analysis and machine learning products

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years of experience
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R as well as experience with cloud-based big data management tools for both structured and unstructured data
• Active Secret Clearance – Required
