Job Description
Louisville Tile Distributors is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our corporate office. The Inventory Coordinator will support both purchasing and operations by managing key inventory-related processes. This role is responsible for coordinating mis-shipments and damaged goods with suppliers (Tier 2 process) to secure replacements or credits, providing backup coverage for Purchasing Agents during PTO, and overseeing inventory consolidation efforts for non-stock items, remnants, and expired products. This is a full-time on-site M-F position.

Requirements:• Previous experience in inventory and/or Purchasing
• High School Diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Tier 2's (Mis-shipments and damaged goods)
· Coordinating with suppliers for goods received incorrectly or damaged reported by our warehouses.
· Removing/adding inventory related as needed.
· Reordering materials if needed.
· Filing claims with our freight carriers.
Purchasing Agent Support and Coverage
· Providing support and coverage to the Purchasing team, to include special orders and stock ordering, for scheduled PTO.
Non-stock Inventory Review and Consolidation
· Reviewing non-stock reports and consolidating stocking branches.
Identify Remnants
· Identifying remnant inventory and coordinate with warehouses to get these consolidated and/or removed from inventory.
Mange Product Expiration
· Identifying material that is about to expire and coordinate transfers or quick sales of material with warehouses and/or branch managers.
Open PO and Transfer Clean up
· Investigating old and/or late purchase orders and transfers to get resolved.
Identify and Resolve Inventory Issues
· Assisting Warehouse Operations in identifying and resolving random inventory issues as they arise.
Project Support Assigned by Purchasing Manager
· Assisting the Purchasing Manager with monthly projects regarding inventory.
