Medical Assistant

Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our residents' healthcare needs. Join our compassionate team in providing high-quality medical support and ensuring a comfortable, caring environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient charting, documentation, and medical record management

- Support residents with daily health assessments and basic medical procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and sanitized

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medical information

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers

- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly

- Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required

- Proven experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Compassionate, patient-focused, and respectful demeanor

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
