About the Position
The Field Training Manager is responsible for delivering company-wide onboarding and operational training programs and reinforcing standards across onsite and regional teams. This role supports Organizational Development initiatives by facilitating RealPage system education, conducting field validation visits, and ensuring consistent execution of operational processes across the portfolio.
This position serves as the primary field-based training resource, providing hands-on coaching, skill validation, and system expertise. The Field Training Manager ensures that training standards established by Organizational Development are effectively implemented and sustained in the field.
This role focuses on training delivery, system proficiency, and operational reinforcement. Training strategy, curriculum governance, and policy development remain under the direction of the Senior Manager, Organizational Development. The Field Training Manager is responsible for the delivery, reinforcement, and field validation of these standards across the portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver structured onboarding programs for Onsite team members across the portfolio.
- Facilitate role-based and systems training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Execute enterprise training curriculum and ensure alignment with established operational standards.
- Provide refresher and performance-based retraining as identified through audits or operational feedback.
- Support multi-state onboarding through scheduled virtual cohort sessions.
- Support system implementation during asset transitions.
RealPage & Systems Execution
- Serve as subject matter expert for RealPage workflows, reporting, compliance documentation, and system best practices.
- Provide hands-on coaching and troubleshooting support to onsite teams.
- Identify system usage gaps and partner with Operations to reinforce correct processes.
- Support operational readiness during asset transitions by delivering system training and onboarding reinforcement.
- Ensure consistent and accurate system utilization across sites.
Field Validation & Coaching
- Conduct on-site visits to validate skill competency and onboarding effectiveness.
- Observe leasing processes, file documentation, and operational workflows to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Provide structured coaching and reinforcement to Community Managers and onsite teams.
- Partner with Regional Managers to support team development, operational consistency, and performance improvement initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Document training completion, skill validation results, and field observations.
- Provide structured reporting and feedback to the Senior Manager, Organizational Development.
- Track onboarding progress and identify trends related to training effectiveness.
- Maintain training records and documentation as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong operational knowledge of property management practices.
- Advanced proficiency in RealPage systems and reporting tools.
- Proficient in Grace Hill training platform.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to coach and influence without direct authority.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities across states.
- Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a functional leader and training authority for onsite and regional teams. The role provides coaching, skill validation, and operational guidance across the portfolio.
Qualification:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in property management and operations.
- Advanced RealPage experience required. (non-negotiable)
- Experience training, mentoring, or coaching onsite teams preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-site or portfolio environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver structured training and facilitate group sessions.
- Willingness to travel (East Region)

Travel: Up to 60%, 40% work from home
